Today in Tha Wire over the weekend comedy legend and actor Mike Epps said "I Do!" HipHollywood reports the star married his Boo, OWN TV show producer, Kyra Robinson. Robinson has produced of number of shows for the network, most notably Iyanla: Fix My Life.  Epps and the Chi-Town diva have been dating since 2016, but unfortunately things got off to a bumpy start for the couple in the beginning.

Bossip reports 2016 is also the year Epps filed for divorce from his wife of more than 10 years, actress Mechelle McCain. Epps and McCain actually met on the set of the movie The Fighting Temptations in 2003, where she was cast with a non-speaking role as his girlfriend. Before long the two starting dating for real, married in 2006, and had two daughters Madison and Moriah. The funny man has two other daughters Bria and Makayla from a previous relationship.

As far as their divorce goes McCain says she was blindsided by their split telling TMZ,

“It was shocking to me. I didn’t know we were separated since the summer time, we’ve been doing everything a married couple does until January.

“I think when I saw him walking down the streets of New York with a “mysterious” girl then that did it. I was being the loyal wife and it threw me for a loop.”

It's safe to say the former Mrs. Epps was real bitter about the way her marriage ended and didn't make it easy for Mike to jump ship! The divorce was final in 2017, but McCain didn't go down without a fight as the settlement cost Mike a pretty penny. Now that the messy divorce is behind them, they both can move on and co-parent their daughters without any further drama.

When the divorce was final Mike and Kyra came out as a couple openly dating until the famous comedian popped the question in 2018. As no surprise, she said yes! Fast forward, with family and friends looking on the two made it official and got married over the weekend in a lavish ceremony at the Pelican Hills Resort in Newport Beach, CA. We offer our congrats to the happy couple and wish them the best!

The BET Awards was going on that same night, and his boys T.I. and Snoop were both among the stars who were either nominated or presenters. In fact Snoop won Gospel Album of The Year, for his phenomenal Bible of Love! He skipped the show to be at the wedding with his friend instead. Below he thanks BET his fans, management and supporters for the big win. T.I. gave a heartwarming speech in the Nipsey Hussle tribute and presented his family with the fallin rapper/philanthropist Humanitarian Award. Shortly after doing so, he and his wife Tameka Harris to a quick flight to Newport and joined the wedding ceremony.

As it turns out 2016 is also the year he filed for divorce from his wife of more than 10 years actress Mechelle McCain.
