The 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards hosted by the one and only Lil Duval is now history. Lil Nas X, J. Cole, Travis Scott and Cardi B were among the nights biggest winners. After three-decades in the rap game Brooklin's Queen Bee, Lil Kim was one of the big highlights of the show. The iconic raptress was honored with the I Am Hip Hop Award to acknowledge her incredible career. Of course, Kim gave fans what they wanted and slayed the stage with a melody of her biggest hits.

By the way her appearance couldn't have come at a better time, with the rap legend gearing up to drop her 5th solo album, 9 this Friday October 11. Make sure you pick it up too, cause it's loaded with some dope collabs with music biggest stars like Rick Ross, Rick The Kid, O.T. Genasis, Musiq Soulchild and the City Girls just to name a few.

As far as the music industry, nobody's put in more work than J. Cole over the past two or three years. Last night the Fayetteville MC finally got his much deserved props and picked up three trophies including, the award for Lyricist of The Year! Though he didn't cop a trophy for music, Jay Z is known for making epic business moves. For all the rap pioneer does outside of entertainment, Hov took home the the Hustler of The Year award.

Travis Scott won one of the biggest awards of the night for his third studio album, Astroworld. The Houston rap star took home the trophy for Album of The Year, plus the Video Director of The Year award for his "Highest In The Room" music video. Megan Thee Stallion won the Best Mixtape award, and DaBaby took home the Best New Hip Hop Artist award.
