Christus Ochsner St. Patrick Gets COVID-19 Fighting Robot

In memory of his father who died from the coronavirus last year, local attorney Ron Richard donated a special robot to help doctors defeat the disease. Dr. Timothy Haman told the local news the machine uses ultra violet light to kill infectious COVID organisms.

Haman and the Christus Ochsner staff are grateful to have another tool to help them save lives. Richard said the doctors and nurses were so kind and helpful during his dads bout with the disease, he wanted to do something to honor his dad and thank the hospital staff for their care. The robot was certainly a great way to do both! Shoutout to Attorney Richard for giving back, and our condolences to his family on the loss of his father
