Things To Do In Lake Charles This Weekend Nov. 5-7
Halloween is over and we are now in November which means more and more events are taking place in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana. We are here to give you the info on things going on in the area this weekend.
If you are looking for events to take the entire family or need a date night with the spouse, we got you covered will a bunch of things going on this weekend.
Here we go:
The McNeese Block Party is Friday night at the Grove located at the corner of McNeese and Common Streets in Lake Charles. The event is free and gates open at 7:00 pm and will feature live country music from Parish County Line.
Brad Brinkley and his band Comfort Zone will be all over the place this weekend. He will be at Cecil’s In Deridder Friday night from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. On Saturday, the guys will be at Doc’s Yardhouse Nederland from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Then on Sunday, Brad and his band return to Lake Charles and will be live at Mary’s Lounge on East Broad Street and will play from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Movies Under The Stars will be Friday night at the Prien Lake Park in Lake Charles starting at 6:30 pm and will feature the movie The Wizard Of Oz. It's a free event and open to the public.
The McNeese Cowboys football team will be in action Saturday afternoon against Nicholls at Cowboys Stadium. The kick-off is at Noon.
K-Bon's restaurant located at Highway 397 and East McNeese Street will have Friday, November 5th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Saturday night they will have LA 99 South playing live from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
REO Speedwagon will be live at the Golden Nugget's Grand Event Center Friday night at 8:30 pm.
