Several calls were made to the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office on Tuesday at about 12:30 pm, in reference to a man dropping his pants to his ankles in front of an elementary school.

When deputies arrived, they made contact with Russell J. Guidry Jr., 37, of 584 Jay Circle in Sulphur, and found that he was also in possession of methamphetamine.

Guidry was taken to a local hospital, but once he's released, he will be arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with obscenity and possession of CDS II. His bond hasn't been set.

"The school was immediately put on lockdown for a short period of time, until deputies deemed the area safe," said the media release from Kim Myers.
