Strong Probability Remains Found In Park Is Brian Laundrie’s
The attorney for the Laundrie family released a statement in regard to the human remains discovered in a Florida park Wednesday. Steven Bertolino, told CNN's Chris Cuomo, "the probability is strong that it is Brian's remains." Bertolino added "It's quite sad, you can imagine as a parent, finding your son's belonging alongside from the remains. That's got to be heartbreaking. And I can tell you that they are heartbroken."
Laundrie had been missing since his fiancée, Gabby Petito's body was found last month. Teton County Coroner, Dr. Brent Blue, held a press conference to discuss Petito’s autopsy and announced during a press conference on his findings, that she was fatally strangled.

The authorities would not say Laundrie, 23 was a suspect in Gabby's murder, only that he was a person of interest and wanted to speak to him. Investigators were able to determine that the backpack and notebook found alongside the body at Carlton Reserve in North Port, belonged to Laundrie.
The forensic investigations continued into Thursday morning, with K-9 units and off-road vehicles in search of further evidence. They said the remains were more than likely underwater at one point. Meanwhile, the FBI explained what they are going to do next in identifying the remains.
