the return of Movies Under The Stars on Frida, Oct 1 with the original classic "The Wizard Of Oz". This is one that had all of the kids back in the day frightened of the wicked witch. This movie will be shown at Prien Lake Park 3700 West Prien Lake Road.

On Friday, October 8. Prepare for "The Haunted Mansion" starring comedic great Eddie Murphy. While this movie has its spooky moments, this is a classic funny fest that will have you laughing from beginning to end. You can see this one at 3700 West Prien Lake Park.

Friday, October 1. Get ready for Scooby-Doo and his friends who tend to cause more damage than help with "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed". This is the live-action featuring Freddie Prinze Jr and Sarah Michelle Gellar. Bring the family out and you can see this one at Mallard Junction Park 599 August Street.

The final movie of the Movie Under The Stars series will be "Halloweentown" showing on Friday, October 22. This is another classic starring Kimberly J. Brown as good with who travels with her siblings to rid the town of evil forces. You will be able to see this one at River Bluff Park 543 Theriot Road, Moss Bluff.

All of the movies start at 6:30 p.m. Make sure you get there early to get the prime spot for the evening. Also bring your own blankets for potentially cool evenings, lawn chairs, and food. There will be free popcorn and cotton candy served. There will be vendors present as well and you are also encouraged to wear family-friendly Halloween costumes to each movie.
