McNeese Youth And High School Football Camp Starts In July
McNeese State University is getting ready for the Summer and jump starting their annual Cowboy Football Camps. Calling on all athletes grades 2nd - 12th, MSU coaches are looking for you. If you love football and want to develop or perfect your skills, get in shape or stay in shape, this is the camp for you. MSU will have two different camps open to area youth 2nd - 8th grade, and overnight camp for area teens in grades 9 -12 starting July . Below is more info on the two camps:
Cowboy "Overnight" Football Camp - For High School Campers (entering grades 9-12 in the Fall 2019) - Sunday July 7 through Tuesday July 9, 2019. All campers should arrive on campus between noon and 2 p.m. at Memorial Gym for registration and assignment. The camp ends at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 and participants can be picked up at the residence hall. Campers have two options:
Commuting Each Day - $155 (arrive by 7:45 am) with a $25 discount for brothers/schools with 10 or more campers.
Overnight - $290 (includes 3 meals a day, camp T-shirt, housing/insurance included.) Teams/schools with 10 or more campers will get a $40 discount per player. Additional family members will get a $25 discount per camper. Campers will stay in air-conditioned residence hall with 24-hour-a-day supervision by the McNeese coaches.
The Rowdy Camp - $100 (For kids entering 2nd through 8th grade) - The youth camp begins at Wednesday July 10 through Friday July 12, 2019 from 8 a.m. – 12 noon daily in Cowboy Stadium. Walk up registration will begin at 8 a.m. in the Memorial Gym the first day of camp. Campers can take pictures with McNeese State University mascot Rowdy, and get autographs from McNeese football players on Friday.
Parents or guardians can sign their camper up online for both camps at www.CowboyFootballCamp.com for a fee or you can download the camp brochure HERE.
