There was some mild speculation that LSU QB Myles Brennan would be able to return in time for the Tigers game against number two ranked Alabama. However, those fantasies have been dashed by news that Brennan will be lost for the entire season.

Coach O said during a SEC coach's call yesterday that, barring a miraculous recovery, Myles will be out for the rest of the season due to injuries to his abdomen and his hip.

What's best for Myles, the doctors and them are talking to right now see what's the best for Myles. We're going to do what's the best for him, whether it's getting it fixed, getting it operated now or wait. I think we're still discussing that. - Orgeron said.

Brennan set a school record with being the first Tiger QB to throw for over 300 yards in his first three career starts. He was injured in the October 10 contest against Missouri.

No word from the team yet on if his injuries will require surgery or rehab.
