Louisiana Gets Another Big Powerball Win for $100,000
Lottery players in Louisiana can lay claim to yet another enormous prize in the multi-state lottery game Powerball. Officials with the Louisiana Lottery have confirmed a ticket sold for the November 9th drawing matched enough numbers to win a prize valued at $100,000.
This big win comes on the heels of Tuesday's announcement of Louisiana winners in Monday's record-setting Powerball drawing. In that drawing the state's lottery players laid claim to a $1,000,000 prize, two $50,000 prizes, and more than 200 prizes of at least $100 bucks.
Yeah, we are lucky in Louisiana.
If you missed last night's drawing, here's how it went down, this time with no technical glitches.
The winning numbers according to the Powerball website were:

The Powerball website shows that no tickets matched all the numbers needed to claim the newly refreshed jackpot of $32,100,000. But, game officials say via the website that tickets sold in California and Texas matched all five of the white ball numbers making them eligible for a prize of $1,000,000.
In Louisiana, there were 31 other tickets sold that matched the numbers needed to claim a prize of $100 or more. Six tickets sold for November 9th are valued at $200 because those players opted in on the Power Play aspect of the game. Tell me, does this gas station look familiar to you?
The big money winner in the state, according to the Louisiana Lottery's Big Wins page comes from Lake Charles. A ticket sold at Time Loop 13 on 7th Street matched four of the five white ball numbers, the Powerball, and they opted-in on the Power Play.
The next Powerball drawing will be Saturday night. The estimated top prize will be $47 million at that time. The Mega Millions jackpot is estimated to be $189 million for that multi-state lottery game's drawing on Friday night.
In other lottery news, the Lotto jackpot continues to grow. That game hasn't had a winner since July. The current top prize in Lotto is $1.975 million. Meanwhile, Easy 5 has an estimated jackpot of $130,000. That game hasn't had a big winner since October 15th win a ticket sold in Monroe captured a jackpot of $200,742 dollars.
