This event is brought to you by Second Harvest Food Bank, feeding SWLA residents for the past 40 years. Regional Director Paul Scelfo and Impact Operations Manager Brittany Bowie, said they started the mobile service to help combat the growing crisis of food insecurities in SWLA. The way it works, the mobile market is hosted by a local business and Second Harvest brings food directly to communities and sells the food at a reduced price.

Follow them on Facebook to stay up to date on info related to future Makin' Groceries Mobile Market events. The food bank can always use more food donations and volunteers as well.
