Give your child a strong start! If your little one turns 4 by September 30, 2025, it's time to register for Pre-K in Calcasieu Parish!

🎯 Here's What You’ll Need to Register Your Child:
✔️ Proof of residency
✔️ Child’s birth certificate
✔️ Immunization records
✔️ Parent/guardian ID
✔️ Proof of income (if applicable)
🎓 The Calcasieu Parish School Board Early Childhood Program is free Pre-K for all eligible 4-year-olds at 31 school sites across Calcasieu Parish. This important childhood development program is funded by LA4, 8g, Title I, and Special Education grants, as well as some local funds.
This program provides daily education to 4-year-olds in Calcasieu Parish. The grants first service children eligible within their home's attendance school zone. Transportation is only provided to eligible students who reside within the school's attendance zone.
