Viral Brits Escape Shreveport, Go Full Cajun in Lake Charles

KNGT | Lake Charles, LA — Gather round Southwest Louisiana and let me tell you the Tale of 2 Brits that came to visit. Once upon a time, across the big blue pond, two British best mates named Josh and Jase had a amazing idea:

“Let’s go to America!”
“Why?”
“For the food, obviously!”

Josh (whose full name is Joshua Cauldwell-Clarke, but nobody says all that unless he’s in trouble) and Jase (Jason Riley, the one who thinks “aluminum” is spelled wrong) packed up their passports, grabbed a camera, charged their phones, and hopped on a plane to the United States, and landed in the home of big trucks, big steaks, and even bigger personalities, you guessed it….Texas.

They have taken their adventure all around Texas until they were told that Shreveport is the place they need to visit next, so they loaded up and headed north. Now to me I don’t know why anyone in their right mind would send two innocent people to Shreveport, lets face it, your probably going to get mugged in the street and lets all agree…they put tomatoes in their gumbo!

Once the Duo made it to Shreveport they were very disappointed in the accommodations at the hotel, once on Social Media fans warned them to “GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN”. Knowing that they were in danger with nowhere to go a good Samaritan named Bobby (He’s a great guy, I know him) in SWLA reached out and said head South and Ill put you at a local Casino. Once here they were shown that good Cajun Hospitality and were taken for Crawfish.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I love to watch people who have never eaten Crawfish try it the first time. Let me just say, they did not disappoint. At one point they were coughing from “all the spice in the air” and they her biting the heads of the crawfish, I can only hope that someone at Mac Crawfish in Lake Charles, Louisiana hoped in to show the pair how it was really done.
