Urban Cowboy Night Coming to Downtown Lake Charles-Tonight
KNGT | Lake Charles, LA — Alright y’all, it’s time to shine up those belt buckles and dust off your dancing boots because Urban Cowboy Night is headed to Downtown at Sundown, and let me tell you, it’s gonna be more fun than Uncle Bob at a wedding with an open bar.
Set for Downtown at Sundown 2025, this special night is all about country vibes, cold drinks, and some good ol’ Southern fun. If you've ever said, "I thought this was America… where a man could wear boots and tight jeans to dance in public!" well Buckaroo's, Tonights the night’s for you.
Live music kicks off at 6PM with Southern Tragedy takin’ the stage ‘til 7:15. Then get ready for Buddy Andrews and the Branded to keep the party rollin’ from 7:30 to 9PM. That’s enough twang to make even your boots want to dance.
But don’t just stand there like you don’t know the difference between a line dance and a straight line. In between bands, Bayouland Ballroom is holdin’ a FREE line dancing class (lets face it we all need to brush up on our dance skills). Don’t worry if you got two left feet, this class is for beginners, pros, and even that one cousin who thinks the Electric Slide is a country song.

- And sweet treats like stuffed or loaded Sunrise from Twisted Sneaux for just $4.50
Plus, local vendors and food trucks will be out in full force with snacks, crafts, and probably someone selling something made out of wood or alligator skin.
So whether you’re a real-life Bud Davis or just like pretending on weekends, Urban Cowboy Night is the perfect excuse to hit the streets, have a drink, and maybe even meet your Sissy. Grab your Lawn Chairs and will see you there!!
