Toys ‘R’ Us Is Making a Comeback in Texas, Will Louisiana Be Next?

🐊 KNGT 🐊 | Louisiana — Are you a child of the 1900's? When Toys 'R' Us was king, or maybe you are a kid now and at risk of becoming a Toys 'R' Us kid? For those of us in Louisiana and Texas, this is fantastic news, if it is true.

Is Toys 'R' Us Coming back to Louisiana and Texas?

After they declared bankruptcy in the summer of 2018, Toys 'R' Us shut down all of its locations. I know many of us visited Toys 'R' Us as children, so it was disappointing to see a piece of our childhood close its doors.

But, After a few years Toys 'R' Us is making a Texas Comeback, and has opened a new location at the Grapevine Mills Mall in Texas. The new location is 13,000 square feet, according to NBCDFW. There are plans for other locations, according to the NBCDFW story. By the end of the year, the company intends to open 20 seasonal holiday stores and 10 new flagship sites.

What does this me for Louisiana, are we getting a Location? As of right now it doesnt look like the Bayou State is on the list for a new store, BUT if you are visiting any other these other states you might be able to relive your childhood. According to ABC10 theses are the new Locations:
