NFL Is Back! Hall of Fame Game Kicks Off Tonight
[KNGT-FM] - It's what we've all been waiting on, football is back, and it all gets underway tonight with the annual Hall of Fame game from Canton, Ohio. The 2025 NFL preseason gets started with a good matchup between two teams tonight, one of which made the playoffs last year.
The Detroit Lions will take on the Los Angeles Chargers tonight from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It will be a big weekend for the Hall of Fame as not only will they have a game played, but they will also be inducting the 2025 class into the Pro Football Hall of Fame this weekend.

The NFL notified each of the former NFL players about their achievements and that they were going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, and captured their genuine reactions to the news. Check out all four players' reactions when they were told they achieved football immortality.
This Saturday, August 2, 2025, these four players will enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame. You can watch the entire ceremony starting at 11:00 am Central time on the NFL Network.
Now, as for the game tonight, the kickoff is set for 7:00 pm between the Lions and the Chargers inside Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The game will air nationally on NBC and Peacock.
Speaking of Tom Benson, he was the owner of the New Orleans Saints. Since his passing, his wife, Gail Benson, now owns and runs the team. The Saints' first preseason game of 2025 will be on Sunday, August 10th at 3:00 pm, when they face the Los Angeles Chargers. That game will air on the NFL Network and locally on KPLC TV.
