Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] - The New Year is almost here, and many of you may be looking to ring in the New Year right with a party on Wednesday night. Some of you may be just having a get-together at your house and waiting for the New Year's weekend to go do something.

We have done the research for you and made a list of New Year's Eve parties and concerts going on New Year's weekend in Lake Charles and Southwest Louisiana. So what are you looking for? We probably have something that will interest you, so let's get to it.

2025 New Year's Eve parties in Lake Charles & SWLA

Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana, will be hosting a New Year's Eve party in the grand ballroom, which will feature DJ Bobby Novosad and No Idea Band and will include free party favors, a huge confetti blast, and a champagne toast. The doors open at 7:00 pm, and the music starts at 8:00 pm.

The band Trigerproof will be performing live on Wednesday, December 31 through Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 at the Golden Nugget inside the Blue Martini. Some of the members of Trigerproof are former members of the band Hip Boot Joe, and the drummer played with the rock band Journey at one time. The band will perform from 8:00 pm to 12:30 am on New Year's Eve and then from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am Thursday through Saturday.

New Year's Weekend Concerts for 2026 in Lake Charles & SWLA

Jellystone RV Park and Resort will have a big weekend of live music starting on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, with Wayne Toups live in concert. Wayne will play from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm that night.

Then on Saturday night, January 3, 2026, Jellystone will have Ryan Foret and Foret Tradition. Ryan and the band will also play from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm that night.
