New Orleans, LA [KNGT-FM] - We are still a few months away from the 2026 football season, but the wait is finally over for Who Dat Nation as the New Orleans Saints have officially unveiled their 2026 NFL schedule.

After a disappointing and frustrating 2025 campaign, the Black and Gold are hoping a fresh start and a young quarterback can help turn things around in New Orleans. The Saints struggled throughout much of the 2025 season while adjusting to a new coaching staff and offensive system.

First-year head coach Kellen Moore saw his share of struggles in 2025, and his team battled inconsistency on both sides of the football and finished with a disappointing 5-12 record. Some of the main factors from last year's season that caused the Saints' struggles included Injuries, defensive breakdowns, and quarterback uncertainty.

One of the pleasant parts of last year's season was the breakthrough of rookie quarterback Tyler Shough. He stepped into the starting role midway through the season and raised some eyebrows around the league.

The rookie passer took over the starting role, and when it was all said and done, he finished the year throwing for 2,384 yards, 10 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and completing 68 percent of his passes in 11 games. He ran for 186 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

That performance has Saints fans excited for the upcoming 2026 season. Most fans think the black and gold have found their next quarterback to lead the team into the future.

It was announced on Wednesday that the Saints will travel to Paris, France, to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, October 25, 2026, and the game will kick off at 8:30 am. Last night, we found out the rest of the 2026 schedule.
