McNeese Football Announces 2025 Fan Fest

Lake Charles, Louisiana (KNGT-FM) - The anticipation for this year's season of McNeese Cowboy Football is through the roof with the return of Matt Viator leading the Cowboys in 2025. On Tuesday, McNeese announced the 2nd annual McNeese Football Fan Fest, and we've got everything you need to know.

There are a lot of things to be excited about this football season, whether it's the return of Matt Viator, the debut of the brand new Press Box, or just simply Cowboy fans hoping for a fun and exciting football season.

Fans will have the chance to get a close-up look at the 2025 squad for their 2nd Annual McNeese Football Fan Fest, which McNeese Athletics announced would be making a return in a release on Tuesday Morning.

The Fan Fest will take place inside the newly renamed Navarre Stadium on Saturday, August 16th. The event will begin at 6 PM with a preseason scrimmage and will be followed by a meet and greet with the players and coaches.

While the Cowboys are on the field, families can enjoy plenty of fun throughout the stadium. There will be inflatables, face painting, fun jumps, and sponsor booths with cool giveaways and games. Plus, food trucks and snow cone stands will be serving up tasty local favorites, and you can shop for official Cowboys gear from Outfitters Ink.

There’s also something new this year: a Farmer’s Market-style vendor area featuring local makers with handmade soaps, honey, crafts, and more.

For McNeese fans still wanting to buy their tickets for this season, the McNeese Ticket Office will be on-site, giving fans the opportunity to purchase season tickets and single-game tickets.
