LSU vs Oklahoma: Official Kickoff Time and TV Network Announced
Lake Charles, La [KNGT-FM] - The final week of the 2025 college football regular season is here. We wait six months for the football season to get here, and before you know it, it's already over. This is the week that the rivalry games happen.
We are talking about games between teams usually within the same state, like the Egg Bowl, which is Ole Miss against Mississippi State, or Alabama and Auburn in what is known as the Iron Bowl.
For LSU, the new rivalry for the finale of the season is against the Oklahoma Sooners. Last Saturday, Oklahoma beat Missouri 17-6 and improved the Sooners to 10-2 on the season. They will be looking to beat LSU this weekend to get a bid in the college football playoffs.

LSU, however, has had turmoil this entire season. Their head coach, Brian Kelly, was fired due to subpar play on the field. The Tigers have won their last two games since Kelly was fired, but it wasn't pretty, especially this past Saturday's game against Western Kentucky. LSU beat Western Kentucky 13-10, but for a while there, they looked like they were in jeopardy of losing that game.
A win is a win, I guess, and the victory improved the Tigers to 7-4 on the season. The Tigers will face Oklahoma this Thanksgiving weekend, and the channel and time for this Saturday's game have been announced.
The Tigers and Sooners will kick off at 2:30 pm from Norman, Oklahoma, and the game will be televised nationally on ABC.
