Louisiana’s Top 10 Favorite Halloween Candies.
#10 Haribo Goldbears
These little gummy bears are addicting. You eat one, next thing you know the gummy bear population is going extinct.
#9 Twix
Two bars, one wrapper. Crunchy cookie, caramel, and chocolate all hangin’ out together. Left or right side, don’t matter, they both hit the spot.
#8 Milky Way
That chocolate mixed with caramel and that nougat, my mouth is already watering.
#7 Hershey’s Chocolate
The O.G. Gangster of Chocolate. You can never go wrong with a plain Hershey’s bar.
#6 Sour Patch Kids
First they’re sour, then they’re sweet, your jaw is probably making that weird tingle right now.
#5 Snickers
You ain’t yourself when you’re hungry, right? This one’s a full meal in candy form, peanuts, caramel, nougat, and chocolate. It’s the king of road trip snacks.
#4 Kit Kat
Lets face it, were all singing the jingle for it in our heads right now
#3 M&Ms
Perfect for movie night, we add it to our popcorn for that little "extra".
#2 Peanut M&Ms
Same as the regulars, but with that peanut in the middle it makes us feel a little more grown-up. Like regular M&Ms went to college.
#1 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
And here we are, Louisiana’s top pick, good ol’ Reese’s. Chocolate and peanut butter, this is also one of my favorites. You can freeze ‘em, eat ‘em melty, or throw ‘em in ice cream, don’t matter, it’s still perfection.
So there ya go, Louisiana’s sweet tooth favorites straight from the folks at KTBS, who got their info from Instacart. Whether you’re handin’ out candy this Halloween or sneakin’ a few for yourself, you can bet these treats will make their way into a lotta trick-or-treat bags across the Bayou State.
Now tell me, which one’s your go-to candy.
