KNGT | Louisiana — Get Ready, everyone! On May 17, Holly Beach, Louisiana will host the 18th annual Go Topless Weekend. This is a Jeep, not that type of topless! Jeep owners from all over the Southwest Louisiana will be traveling to the Cajun Riviera to enjoy the sun, beach, and good times..

What is Go-Topless Weekend?

In 2008, a group of Jeep enthusiasts in Massachusetts decided to celebrate spring by removing their Top (of their Jeeps), which led to the creation of Go Topless Day. With Jeep enthusiasts from all over the world joining in on the fun, what started as a simple get-together has expanded into an international event. Go Topless Day is the official start of "summer" and some Jeep owners ride "topless" all summer long.
