Lake Charles “Empty Bowl” Event Tonight Supports Salvation Army
KNGT | Lake Charles, LA — OK Southwest Louisiana, I have to tell you about something really special happening in Lake Charles. It’s called “Empty Bowl” brought to you by The Salvation Army, and it’s happening TONIGHT. This isn’t just any event, it’s an evening full of Warm Soup, Great Music, and Big Hearts.
Now, if you love soup (and let’s face it who doesn’t?), this is the place to be! Some of the best restaurants in Lake Charles are bringing their tastiest soups. You can try as many as bowls as you like. There will be a ton of different varieties.
But wait, there’s more! When you come to this event, you get to take home your very own handmade bowl. These bowls are made by artists right here in Southwest Louisiana. No two bowls are the same, so yours will be one of a kind.
And don’t forget the music! Ryan Foret and the Foret Tradition will be there playing live. You are not gonna wanna miss this high-energy Band. Playing some great Cajun Music.

But the best part? Every penny raised goes to help the Salvation Army of Southwest Louisiana. That means the money you spend on soup and music helps people in our community who really need it. You’re not just filling your belly, you’re making a difference too.
