The holiday weekend is upon us, and most folks will have a three or four-day weekend. With the extended days off, people will be either traveling to destinations or looking to do something fun.
In Southwest Louisiana and the Lake Charles area, there are a bunch of concerts, popular events, and live music at local restaurants and bars going on in the area.

Dustin Sonnier will be live at the brand new restaurant in Lake Charles, Shucks, on Thursday night. Dustin Sonnier will be playing live by the water that night, playing all your old country favorites.
A Southwest Louisiana favorite concert series is back, starting Friday night in Lake Charles. Downtown at Sundown starts its four-week run Friday night, featuring the band Louisiana's Kingfish and Mason Trail & The Zydeco Rhythm. Jellystone RV park is celebrating its grand opening this week, culminating with a huge concert Saturday evening with the band, The Chee Weez. The gates for the concert open at 6:00 pm, and the show starts at 7:00 pm. Here are all the details.
Tracy Lawrence will be live at the Golden Nuggets Grand Event Center Saturday night. Tracy will take the stage at 8:00 pm that night. There may be some tickets available for the show. Here's the link to check.
