[KNGT-FM] -- Festival season continues in Southwest Louisiana as the 21st annual Cameron Fishing Festival is heading your way in August. We have already had three festivals in July here in Southwest Louisiana, and now here comes the 4th one in the past month.

In July, we had some fun at the CFMA Food and Music festival, the Coushatta Crossroads Festival, and the Marshland Festival, and now it's time for the Cameron Fishing Festival.

The fishing festival takes place in Cameron, Louisiana, and runs for three days. The festival runs from Thursday, August 7th, and goes through Saturday, August 9th, 2025. The first day is reserved for the start of the fishing competition, and Friday and Saturday continue the fishing tournament, accompanied by live music and a two-day event.

The festival is filled with silent auctions, the blessing of the fleet, live auctions, corn hole tournament, children's crab races, Karaoke, plenty of food, and live music for two straight days. So who is set to perform live at the festival, you ask? Here you go.

Friday, August 8th, 2025

  • 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm -- Layne Touchet
  • 8:00 pm -- Live Auction
  • 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm -- The Johnson Brothers Band

Saturday, August 9th, 2025

  • 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm -- Leroy Thomas and The Zydeco Roadrunners
  • 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm -- Conner Haynie
  • 7:00 pm -- Live Auction & Fishing Awards
  • 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm -- Louisiana Red
  • 10:30 pm -- Karaoke

The festival opens the gates at 4:30 pm on Friday and 11:00 am on Saturday. $10 will get you in the gate on Friday and $15 on Saturday. You can also purchase a two-day pass for only $20. Children 12 and under get in free.
