Ford announced today that it was issuing a recall on some 700,000 vehicles.

The issue stems from a faulty back-up camera and affects Ford's F150, Mustang, Explorer, Expedition, Ranger, and others, including some Lincoln models.

It appears that the back-up camera in some of Ford's 2020 models is faulty in that it becomes distorted or goes dark altogether while in use, which could pose a safety risk. According to KLFY, the issue lies in a faulty electrical connector, and that the company will repair the issue free of charge. The recall is scheduled to begin on November 7th.
