CPSO Needs Help Locating Burglary and Theft Suspect
Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the report of a burglary and theft at a local business on Highway 14 in Lake Charles on May 24.
After detectives reviewed surveillance video, they learned the on May 23, at approximately midnight, the "unknown man gained access into the business by entering the back gate of the property and prying the door open with a crowbar." It also showed him removing a portable battery charger before leaving the building.
Then on May 25, deputies responded to the same business again for a second burglary and theft. Detectives reportedly watched the same man on surveillance video returning to the business at about 9:30 p.m. on May 24, and again at 11:30 p.m. The man entered through the back gate and used a screwdriver to "pry open the door." This time he stole a rolling battery charger and a portable air compressor, said a media release.
