Arrest Warrant Issued in December 2018 Attempted First-Degree Murder

A local man is wanted for a shooting on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, that took place near 910 W. 18th Street where the victim received multiple gunshot wounds.

Officers with the Lake Charles Police Department arrived at 10:14 pm, and "located the black male victim with multiple gunshot wounds", said a media release. The victim was reportedly taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

An arrest warrant for Kentrell Joseph Dunn was obtained by detectives for the charge of attempted first-degree murder. Judge Davide Richie also set his bond at $250,000.
